Wanted - cx bike

    Season is starting, I need a cx bike. Budget is 500 quid max. Size medium 53 or 54. Prefer to stick with disc brakes but main thing is that it's not a boat anchor - can buy them new for not much more than that. Thanks

    A proper CX bike with disc brakes for "not much more" than €500 ... where please?

    When Halfords have offers you can get serious deals on boardman cx. Still I'd rather get something a bit lighter even if it needed some work.
    I've just checked, at the moment they are not offering anything like that. But I have seen perfectly decent second hand cx bikes sell for around 500 before. Thanks for your concern.

    I've a Planet X Uncle John I'm about to release into the wild! No disc brakes but the running gear is SRAM Rival and I've used it as my winter commuter and for some touring. I could let it go at something over €200. PM me if interested.
