I've never drank cold brewed coffee but the campaign video for this cold brewer prompts me to ask - is heated cold brewed coffee nicer than hot brewed?

How in the name of God did they get that much funding when they use a fecken blade grinder in their promo video.
I'm no coffee snob or expert but one of the first things you learn is that if you're going to brew coffee from beans then the worst thing you can do is use a blade grinder, you get no consistency and you heat up and burn the beans.
    What are these people doing?

My nephew put me onto cold brews. You don't get the bitter taste. I have to say it's lovely. You don't need any thing special . Flask, coffee and fridge and away you go.

But how is it when you heat it up?

Okay, I don't know what took me so long to finally try it -- maybe it's just my Aeropress complacency -- but I finally did over the holiday weekend. And.... why oh why didn't I try it earlier?!

For my money, cold-brewed coffee diluted with boiling water makes an even tastier cuppa than my trusty Aeropress. So sweet, so smooth, so consistent, so convenient, so easy.
