I can see the Waterford vs Antrim either being a completly one sided game or Antrim will surprise people and really put it up to the Deise. Waterford cant be complacent and will have a lot of tired bodies. Antrim were wrote off in 2013 against Wexford and ended up winning that semi final. Who says history cant repeat itself . Waterford by 3-5 pts i think

As this will be Galways first outing of the year i think Dublin will win because of being much sharper with 3 games under there belts already. Dublin have a lot of senior stars which will get them over the line i think. Galway could be a great team and might surprise people. Connor Whelan is a good player and can cause problems for the Dublin defense. Dublin by 3

Unfortunately for Antrim, think Deise will win by up to whatever they want to really.

Hard to call with Galway/Dub. Don't think Leinster campaign was as hard for Dublin as it would have been other years, but they've still had games. Galway look to have a skillful enough team picked with a good sprinkling of talent in the forwards though the backs look iffy enough. Interestingly (or maybe worryingly) they've drafted in 3 of last year's Minors. I've said previously that it's hard to back Dublin underage teams but at 11/8 they mightn't be bad value at that.

Waterford will win by 20 plus points. Easily. This is an exceptionally strong U21 team. The wexford team Antrim caught out a few years ago wasn't.

Galway should win the second match but Dublin will put it up to them. Leinster was weak this year so hard to know how good this dublin team is but with it being Galway's first game then the same can be said if them.

Waterford and Galway for me and if I was betting I'd a double of Waterford to cover the handicap (25 points with PP) and Galway to win.

For anyone thinking of backing Waterford -25, Antrim played with 2 sweepers against Wexford in the semi final last year and lost by 12 points.

Going by paddy power , good odds on everything below a 16-more win for Waterford. Antrim are 125/1 for all exact winning point margins

    100/1 for a 1-3pt Waterford win

Antrim need to be removed from both minor and senior at this point.

a 26 point handicap in a semi final just makes a farce of the thing.

Whoever gets them gets into a final, simple as. You can take them for granted and it still won't matter they're that far behind at this level.

They can't even field a senior team anymore capable of beating teams who aren't allowed into the Liam McCarthy by right.

Galway had to play their minors in a Quarter and couldn't learn anything until it was too late in the semi final against a team who could do that months before.

They should just ''trial'' the championship that's eventually coming to senior one day in the under age grades so all competing teams gets a fair chance and eliminate soft games for someone getting Ulster.

Serious demolition job by Waterford. All they can do is play what's in front of them.

Jack Fagan can watch his ex teammates in the B final before the Waterford game. Meath play Mayo in the U21 B final after beating Kerry and Roscommon respectively.

Is that Diarmuid Kirwan I see?.

He has been extremely suspect to Galway seniors in the last few games I can recall and thankfully we've had him so little in the past few years that number never got to rise higher.

Let's see does he have another suspect game against Galway or if it was just a coincidence the last few times.

17 wides for Dublin, very poor shooting.
Can't see either of these troubling Waterford in the final

An obvious push in the back with 3 seconds to go and he plays on an extra 20secs and lets Dublin equalise.

I was just noting this in the other thread how refs shouldnt be allowed to manage the game clock.
It decides games unless one team is clear.

Just when I was thinking Kirwan was having an ok game against Galway he goes and plays out the final 30seconds like that.

Put a whole €1 on a draw at 8/1. Dublin too win in ET I think

Some very soft frees there towards the end for one side.

He'd want to check that ****ing watch he has anyways. I have a feeling he'd have played as long as it took for Dublin to get level though to be honest. The time was played when Eanna Burke cleared the ball down field. Yet he allowed Dublin, pick up the clearance and work it back up the pitch

I wouldn't put anything past that so called ref.

In fairness, it was a minimum of three minutes of additional time so if his watch dictated that there should be three and a half minutes of additional time, it would be announced as a minimum of three minutes of additional time

Fair play to them, they really dug out that win because the backs were to the wall there when they turned at half time in extra time level after playing with the breeze and with Whelan going off. Serious bottle shown and some very clinical score taking aswell. Some good hurlers in that team for a side that doesn't have too many well established senior players. Cronin very tidy in the corner, Shane Cooney solid at centre back (would love to see him break through with the seniors, in terms of skill and stature he'd be well ahead of a couple of the backs that played last Sunday against Tipp, just questions regarding his fitness), Dan Nevin super in the middle of the field. Whelan and Burke did well enough in the forwards and did stand up to be counted when it was needed. But a word for Brian Molloy, superb. Lead the attack so well and gave an absolute exhibition of centre forward play, played in some lovely ball into the inside line and took his scores very well. Was a Tony Kelly like performance such was the way he dropped into space and used the ball so cleverly as well as taking such classy long range scores.

Regarding injury time at end of 2nd half three mins were announced at 58 mins and when Dublin got a free on 59 mins the play was stopped for 1 min and 40 seconds to allow Dublin player hobble off. On this basis ref should have played another minute in normal time and not blown up when he did. Dublin got what they they deserved in the end which was sweet FA for all the chances they wasted not to mention mention the amount if ball they sent over the far sideline n first half.
