    I have a fully comp policy ,
Added the missus as a named driver.

Does this mean she is covered fully comp to drive it?
    cheers

Named drivers usually get the same level of cover as the policyholder (excluding the driving of other cars facility)

However, insurers often restrict cover to TP Only/TPF&T for young drivers or permit holders. Also excesses can vary for similar features.

    Check your policy schedule

Is it of any advantage, for future independent cover, for younger drivers to be named on a policy either as PL or FL holders?

Why is cost of insurance cheaper if you add another driver to your policy.
I got 15% off by doing so on friday.
