    Hi,

Can anyone tell me, on average, what weight 1 tonne of freshly cut sicka spruce thinnings will be reduced to after 20% moisture is achieved?
Also, on average how many tonnes of newly cut timber is in the standard arctic load of 1st thinnings and what how much would a load cost to buy in? I know the distance will determine the haulage price.

1 tonne wet sitka would be about 850kg @ 20% moisture.
The minimum amount of firewood that Coillte sell is a lorry load (approx 30 cubic meters).

30 cubic meters is about 30 tonnes or so

contacts here for prices and delivery under: Other Sales - Including Firewood

You'll need a good year to dry it.
