Stay away from ebay?

I know the first rule is to pretty much stay away from ebay as there are a lot of dodgy watches out there.

However I've seen the watch I want, the seller has 100% feedback and exclusively sells high end watches. They also have a bricks and mortar shop in the UK. Would that information be enough to sway you into buying from ebay?

Savings of about €2800 from what I got quoted in the shop. It is unworn also.

Wasn't sure if I was allowed, and that should be €2000 savings.

A couple of good reviews on TZ-UK forum, which is usually a good sign in my book.

Like everything, you can only use your head and do as much as possible to verify who you are dealing with.

I certainly wouldn't rush into anything on eBay but I don't think I'd rule it out either.

Price is good but not incredible. Iconic would have it for 3300 and you know it's all 100%

These sell second hand on TZ for around 2600-2700 I think.

I can't see myself getting 50 posts up too quickly. I can buy it in Belfast for €4800 out of the store (1k cheaper than Dublin). As a complete noob I might be just as well doing that.. And enjoy the experience.

Then again if I could be picking them up for 3-3.5k that'd be a bit mad?

Insane unless you are minted. Extra 1.2-1.5k to get some flat champagne! I am unsure of the rrp in Ireland but you should be able to get 15-20% off on any of the AD

I would go into shop and try it on to make sure you like it.

Then buy from iconic also that there is no question about authenticity.

Actually Iconic watches look fairly good, well reviewed on TZ and I presume shipping to Ireland won't be a massive issue.

I was with the AD in Dublin trying on various watches and that this was just amazing.. €5800. AD belfast said £4170 over the phone which translates to €4800ish these days. So getting it for cheaper again is quite amazing, my wife is thinking it's much more reasonable each time I mention a new price...

Buying in GBP is a no brainer at the mo with the exchange rate! 3.3 at iconic.

4170GBP is list price. 15% off this would be fairly easily achieved in person at the AD in Belfast.
