They're Slovakian not British despite the London phone number on the website. If you do use them, use Paypal not bank transfer.

I think there is a scam where they can send an empty box and so have proof of postage to show paypal.

I searched for that site but could find nothing I would believe to say it was or was not dodgy.

Paypal often take buyer's word, that's why you can easily get your money back when item is "significantly not as described" - and empty box obviously is. :)

If you feel its a bit dodgy email them first asking a few innocent questions and see what kind of a response you get.

If the response is non existent or strange, then dont use them.

But use paypal if you do use them.

Did a quick google - looks like the business is closed.

    Google the address.

Part of my job is to check if suspicious online orders are valid for a compnay I work for. Usually I don't post on places like this, but this seemed quite simple.

Site in first post is just a UK translation or mirror of their main site. A quick investigation will show that they list their parent company as MAD SR s.r.o.. Throw that into google and you have autopotahy .sk/ which is identical to the site in the first post. Google also throws up their facebook page facebook. com/ autopotahy.individual/ which has over 6000 likes and a very strong rating. I also check international business listings and see businesbox .com/en/slovakia/ company/36029947/ (seems I can't post links as I'm a new user, so just take away the spaces in the domains.
My guess is that they simply don't target the UK or Irish market, but I wouldn't doubt their authenticity.
