    Hi All,

I have a Skybox F5s at the minute which is doing the job.

I am seeing new boxes being reviewed weekly and I am wondering with the likes of the VU+ boxes or Edision OS Mini boxes worth the upgrade?

The Skybox is fine in what it does but by just looking at these reviews it is looking extremely primitive, would I be totally wrong in saying this or is tech just pushing on

What would I look for in a new upgrade because essentially they will be displaying the same free channels?

    thanks
    Gaz

As I recently posted, a Sky insurance came in the post asking for £99.99, for a years insurance on the box/TV/laptop.'As my box is showing its age, I went for the offer, only to get a Sky offer the next day for Sky Q at £12/ month extra. I guess that my have been the better offer, had I known it was coming, assuming a free years warranty with it and a much swankier box?

Skybox F5, as mentioned in OP, has nothing to do with Sky the TV provider.
