just wondering what sites ye use for keeping an eye on the weather

i use the weather from agriland (by met e) and find it fairly reliable

the met eireann website is where it come from and is a bit more detailed, wind temps etc

i have used yr.no before and v good 2-3days out but after that forget it

    any others worth looking at??

I was wondering where this was going. Fierce personal question to be asking a man.ðŸ˜႒ðŸ˜႒

Yrno mainly for weather. I find you have to be using any of these sites regularly to get a feel for the longer term forecasts.

Always the BBC for two days out.
More accurate than the general met eireann forecast.
    Then further out windyty, meteoblue.
Also for assesment on future models, posters on netweather.

    I like both of these;

    https://www.yr.no/

    http://www.wetterzentrale.de/

Met Eireann would be my first choice of course.

    http://www.xcweather.co.uk/

Has all the Irish weather stations on it

based on the reasonably reliable GFS model that is updated every 6 hours from 0000z onwards

used YR for some time but now we use Morecast, which we find gives a more pinpointed forecast for our location.

    WeatherRadar

weather-forecast.com seems to be to be the most accurate for rainfall. yr.no very hit and miss and tends to be over-optimistic at times.

    met Eireann
    Xc Weather
    yr.no in that order

I find that if you look at enough of them you will eventually find the forecast you want.:D

yahoo weather app (dam near bulletproof I find, well so says my mother anyway, she's always ringing to see if she can put clothes out, only showers it misses are real light yokes that are undetectable by the SATS apparently)

BBC weather is the best site if your going aboard or staying at home

I think they are changing providers from the Met Office to a Dutch service now.
Cost savings. Easy know their livelihood doesn't depend on it.

Met eireann website rather than met.ie app.
I like to see the 5 day forecast and watch the rain as it passes across the country.

Yr.no and type in nearest village.

Silage time is the only time l look at weather. After that, take it as it comes.

YR Norwegian app is the best but it won't bring the washing in for you!!! :-)
