Caramel pecan Dunnes own brand that were half covered in chocolate but can't get them any more.

    Currently chocolate fingers.

Chocolate fingers annoy me sometimes. A big box and all the fingers fall down one end. I still eat them though.

You can't have one favourite biscuit.

Depends on the mood doesn't it?

Digestives. Custard creams. Toffeepops. Ginger Nuts. Chocolate polos. Jam and creams. Rich tea. Garibaldi. Maryland cookies. Coconut creams. Chocolate Kimberley. Mikados.

All biscuits. They're all great. All them.

My all-time faves are Jaffa Cakes (don't care if they're not classed as a biscuit) but I won't buy them because I have absolutely no willpower where they're concerned.

    Apart from that, it changes.
I go through phases of loving certain biscuits and then getting sick of them.

Right now, I'm loving Nice biscuits. A few weeks back it was Jammy Dodgers and then a few months ago I bought chocolate chip cookies religiously.

I tell you what biscuit I hate (don't care that you didn't ask): Rich Tea.
    Bloody boring ol' feckers.

These ones in Lidl are savage, I got them for the first time lately. They're basically chocolate chip cookies with a layer of Nutella in the centre of them.

It's just as well I've got a packet in the kitchen or I'd be very annoyed with you OP for putting the longing for them on me!

    Garibaldi

They look like fancy rip offs of fruit shortcake. Never tasted them but too much fruity stuff for me by the looks of things. A few raisins are grand but they just go overboard! :D

Even sandwiched with a good thick layer of butter in the middle? And when you squish them together the butter oozes out through the holes in the biscuits?

Yup, I agree entirely with you. But I'm a little pissed off with you for making me want caramel pecan biscuits that no longer exist, so I'm not going to thank your post

    Chocolate Polo.

The club milks back in the day were so nice,, not very good now.
Mikado, I would eat a whole pack, no problem.
Chocolate Rings,, only 12 in the packet, you would eat 3 while the kettle boiled, then munch the rest with your tea.

    I'm hungry now...

Dark chocolate Choco Leibniz's or at a pinch the Lidl/Aldi knock offs.

    Anything but Mariettas.

I'd rather gnaw on cardboard than eat a Marietta biscuit.

Just had a flashback of to my childhood, of having some visitors arrive, to hear the biscuit tin opening, and next, the thrilling crackle of the biscuit-pack, only for the Mother to turn around with a plate of Mariettas.

Are they still making that flavourless shite?

Honorable mention to Fox's Golden Creams (another "fancy" biscuit admittedly) - they'd definitely be my favourite if they weren't so rich, could't eat more than 2 or 3.

Is it me or are they not as nice as they used to be? Did they try to make them healthy and take out all of the good stuff or something? They always seem to be nicer in my imagination than they actually end up being when I get a packet.

    I still eat them, mind...

They were the height of extravagance when I was a kid, now they're always in the discount basket with cheap jellies and stale crisps.

haha I just googled them and on one site they are described as,

"The Zsa Zsa Gabor of 90s biscuits – sexy, minty circles of sophistication we all ‘vant-ed’."
