Transport of Chest Freezer horizontally

I bought a freezer and drove it the ten minutes home, brought it inside and plugged it in.

Then I read the manual and it said it should be kept upright for 12 hours before use.

It has been plugged in for over an hour now, I guess I have reached the point of no return.

It seems to be working fine so far, should I be worried?

once its freezing its fine, the reason it is recommended to leave it upright is that any oil in the compressor that soaked up the pipes would return to the pot, they rarely ever block when new
