Social Welfare and paid monthly work

Hi After a two year layoff I have been offered a 20 Hour contract with Lidl. As far as I know it will be paid monthly. Does anybody know if Social Welfare have any scheme whereby I can keep my claim until the first paycheck comes in ?

After a two year layoff I have been offered a 20 Hour contract with Lidl. As far as I know it will be paid monthly.

Does anybody know if Social Welfare have any scheme whereby I can keep my claim until the first paycheck comes in ?

Yes, go speak to the community officer, they will offer advice. In my case I got 3 payments while starting work and waiting till pay day at end of month.
