I'm looking for a tablet around the 10 inch mark that will be used for 4 things. 1. media consumption (plex, netflix), 2. browsing, apps etc. 3. lots gaming and 4. a bit of productivity....writing, occasional photo editing.

I have a laptop already so not after anything like a surface. The pixel c meets my demands and I can add the keyboard later. I have ruled out Samsung over touchwiz and even the S2 is under powered for the price. However I wonder would an ipad pro 9.7 be a better bet. Obviously more expensive if you go for the 128gb model (there is no 64gb) so maybe wait for the iPad air 3 which will likely have the keyboard connector, is another option. Only had ipads before and people tell me android apps are awful and not optimised for tablet screens and I should stick with the ipad. Ecosystem does not matter a I use windows and mac pc's and phones.
