Where to sit on an ATR?

Just a quick question for those of you who frequent the ATRs! I've not flown on one in years, but have a flight comming up next week!
I always like a window seat, but I recall certain parts of the cabin being more comfortable! But not sure which end!
Where's the best place to sit on these planes ? Front? Back? Middle?
    Thanks guys :)

well the front is quieter but means you're last off. Like any aircraft you'll feel more Yaw at the back. Wherever you are, you feel more movement in an ATR than a 737 or A320.

If it's a 42, go for the backward facing seats. Nice novelty.

It's a 72! Thanks for the advice, I didn't realise there was any left with those seats available for passengers, I'm well used to flying in backward facing seats anyway .

Thanks for the replies guys, I ended up picking row 9 in the end so I'll see how it goes

Flown many a time on EI-CBK and EI-EHH , love the ATR's, always some nice bumpy final approaches.

ATRs are always a fun ride.

Had a very bumpy entry into Manchester recently, bounced twice. Different voice than the captian came on apologising for the landing. Must have been the new fella taking the wheel :D

    Thanks for all the comments,
Flew today in Row 9, had a very pleasant flight, I found the Leg room great, better than most flights I've taken on a320s and 737 recently, I found it much more comfortable than the dash 8, much less vibration.

yeah the leg room in the ATRs is excellent, it must be said.

Was in 12A, looking straight at the flap settings marked on the wing, saw the programe on discovery lately about the Spanair crash where they forgot to deploy the flaps, all of a sudden I found myself glued to those flap settings. Think I'll be getting an aisle seat in future.
