    Hi All,

I've been googling up a storm and the result is I'm very confused. Hopefully you boardsies can help me out!

I'm doing up the garden. About 4 weeks ago I had my garden wall extended by 2 blocks and plastered. Then about 3 weeks ago I got a new pressure treated shed.

How long do I need to leave the shed & wall dry out before I can paint them?
Do I need to use wood preserver first or can I paint straight on? I'm hoping to use Cuprinol garden shades. Again do I need to prime/treat the wall first or water down first coat? I'm looking st Johnstones masonry paint. Everything I read says to do something different and this is not my forte!!

    Thanks in advance!
    Kaz

The Wall I'd wait until next spring/Summer as the lime in the new plaster will burn through the paint. The other thing is once you decide to paint it it's a job for life as it will need to be done every year to keep it looking fresh.
If you do decide to paint it give it a coat of Stabiliser first then a 50/50 coat then a full coat of weather shield or similar.

The Shed you can paint anytime. Just follow the instructions on the Can.
