    Hey guys

Just wondering if this would be the most appropriate place on Boards to post with a few questions about retirement?

Its not my retirement (I'm a few years away from that!) but its my dad's and I had a few questions about how I might assist him get the most out of these years.

I could find anywhere specific on Boards to post about it so wondered if this was the best spot?

If it is I'll post again.
    Thanks

I would think it depends on what your questions are about.

As I alluded to it would be some general guidance or for folks to share experiences about things they have heard or done with people who are struggling with retirement, (as regards filling time, finding rewarding / meaningful new pursuits etc).

I think if I was more specific I'd end up writing the post - which I will, but I don't want to post in the wrong place.

There's an Oulwans 'n' Oulfellas forum here on boards. Maybe that might help?http://touch.boards.ie/forum/1480

Do a bit of research into Men's Sheds. They are a fantastic resource for men in your dad's position but aren't open everywhere.

    Mod Note
    Thread closed.
OP, before posting to any forum read their charter and if you are unsure PM the mods. Posting as you did above, asking for a forum while in this forum isn't really acceptable.
Suggest you try the pensions forum but if you just post there as you did here I would expect bad things.
