Irish visa question

    Hi all

    Myself and my thai girlfriend are both living and working in Manila, Philippines. We have a son together who has an Irish passport. Both he and I are obviously Irish citizens.

    My question is does anyone have similar experience in getting a tourist visa for their girlfriend/boyfriend if they have both have a child with Irish passport.

    Will it make it much easier to get the tourist visa for her?

    She works in Manila and has bank statements and certificates of employment etc.

    Just looking for any advise before I submit documents to the consul here
