Yes gun attacks have been happening over Europe but people aren't stupid, no one's linking this one to ISIS.

Wonder if ace detective Joe Duffy will have any clues for us today as he talks to his contact Garda Sheehan who's in in some pub near the scene.

Genuine question, go on explain why someone would link it to IS.......

I think what you are getting at is taking an opportunity to mock people that are genuinely concerned at Europe's flawed immigration policies of which the repercussions are beginning to come home to roost.

    Well some people are.

    A truck in Nice
    A bomb in Belgium
    A axe in Germany
And a knife in Normandy. Not sure which gun attacks have been going on around Europe.

Because they've been doing lots of bad things as of late?

If the map on that examiner link is correct (which I don't think it is), that location is a lot more Tallaght than it is Walkinstown.

No.... its walkinstown 100%, if your driving down the greenhills road from tallaght the marker for the change from tallaght to walkinstown is the m50.

Eh, you missed Bataclan in Paris and the Brussels attacks, or don't they fit?

one of the newspapers said 'Greenhills'
There is also a place called Tymon which may or may not exist.

I would agree, the map on that link has the marker on the Nest side of the M50 - hence I said I don't think it's correct. I can't picture any scrapyards after Aldi (formerly Chadiwcks iirc) is.

    Anyway, OT. Abu Nahasapinapetalon!

The map is wrong, this scrapyard is between the Walkinstown roundabout & the Aldi on the left as you drive that way

Since when? St Mary's is Walkinstown and across the Drimnagh Road is Drimnagh. Crumlin starts at the junction of the bingo hall as far as I've always been aware.

Its been that way for a good long time from what I remember, when I was growing up I was under the same impression as you but it seems to have changed a few years back when the HSE etc decided on Catchment areas.

    This.

Long Mile pub is actually right beside Drimnagh Castle school.

Plus the scrapyard is actually Greenhills. Tallaght starts at the M50 flyover.

    Sorry :)
