We have been trying to get in touch with someone for the last two days. My brother is currently stuck in the states and unable to use his bank card. He has no money at all. He has just travelled from Texas to Las Vegas. While in Texas he has no issues with his card. He did inform the bank twice before he left Ireland that he intended to travel to a few states within America and he was told it would be no problem.

He has spent 70Eur on credit trying to call your helpdesk, 70Eur wasted without even getting through to someone. He was promised a call back to which he never received. He has written on twitter to which no one replied however tweets after his have had a response. I have also tried making contact through your Facebook page but no one has replied (it does say “replies typically within an hour”).

We have attended our local branch twice and no one can help us. We are in a serious situation here and need some sort of help. How is it possible that you can leave one of your customers in this situation in a foreign country? We are seriously considering getting him home at this stage as he cannot continue his travelling without any funds.

We are absolutely appalled by the lack of support we have received from your bank the last few days.

    PLEASE SOMEONE REPLY!!!

    Hi Louise.33

Thanks for getting in touch with us here on Boards.

We're very sorry to hear your brother is having difficulties using his card abroad.

We'll be in touch by PM very shortly.

    Thanks
    Alison
