I'm looking for a recommendation for brand of wheel bearing kit, I'm looking on ebay but prices vary quite a bit - although they seem cheaper than irish online shops.

    Any other good online shops?
    thanks

Here is a very good brand of bearing http://www.mister-auto.ie/en/wheel-bearing/fag-713-6788-20_g654_a192713!6788!20.html

you will need special tools to fit this bearing which cost €€€ example http://www.lasertools.co.uk/product/5784

Trick is to find which brand are OE in the car, could be FAG, SNR, SKF. Once you find this out, you will probably get these cheaper than a dealer would charge. Try your local factors, at least you have the back up if it is wrong, usually only found out once the bearing is out of the car.

The local motor factors are €160 for one, looks like i can get the pair for little more on ebay. Is it necessary to get the kit with abs sensor? There are both with & without available

Ford parts are often quite reasonable compared to other marques, no harm pricing them from you Ford Dealer parts dept to see if they might be competitive.
