    Hi there,

I am wondering has anyone ever designed their kitchen with b and q in the south and purchased from a store in the North. Seems a lot cheaper but it isnt worth it to go there to design the kitchen and then go back another day to collect it.

Haven't done the kitchen design, but have gotten a few large items, checked it in Liffey Valley the ordered it from Newry. Worked out about 30% cheaper, probably even better value now with the sterling rate.

The product codes should be the same, so if you get your parts list from the south you could probably send it to the north to price up and check stock.

I don't think they will give you the design anymore but you might get a parts list.

Get your carpenter/ fitter to go through the design and the broucher and they'll work out a parts list for you and pay them for their time also I've done this for clients and saved a small fortune

+1, fitted one last March and B Q mailed out pictures of the design too both myself and the home owner , I think a lot depends on the person you deal with in the shop

Did you have it designed here and purchased in the North?
