We switched broadband from eir to a different service provider and the account was paid in full to date of cancellation. We then received a bill and on querying it was waived. However, eir now say they have no record of the waiver and we are continuing to get letter threatening legal action.

I had a similar experience with Vodafone. Send them a email saying you paid in full and canceled the account properly if you dont stop sending letters you will contact Comreg.

If you receive another letter email Comreg and then record of the waiver will magically appear and youl get a apologie!
