Unblocking main pipe from kitchen

The main 110 mm (I think is it) pipe to the public waste system is blocked on the far side of the U bend, what's the best DIY level equipment to break this up?

This is roughly the design with the U bend very close to the opening down-pipe
    section.

    Its a gully trap.
What is going down the "funnel" ?
    Is it plastic or earthenware?

    Rainwater/sewage/kitchen waste.
Have u access at the "funnel"

What do you think it is blocked with?
Grease/fat/manmade stuff life facial wipes, femgear, ??

The pipe is bog standard orange plastic, I can go down at the opening (the kitchen basin down pipe is not too obstructive) , it's the U bend that's the issue in terms of access to the blockage - as for what's down there it's a mix of stuff but the main cause is leafs so it's a mix of them organic and some typical greasy, fatty waste getting congealed together.

Sorry, I missed the kitchen bit, too busy admiring the art decor in the sketch.

I would take out as much water from the gully as you can if u have a wet and dry vac, great.

You can also get long spoons in the hardware for scooping out the gunge

then, having put on goggles and gloves and not looking down while pouring, put in good quality drain clearing stuff, none of that eco stuff!, and leave for at least 12 hours, the longer the better, if its fully blocked then fill the gully right up to top, and if it drops down you know you are some way there.

The attached might help, spoon is the gully gobbler and the rad and white item is a big syringe, the yellow hose is to get down to the bottom of the gully
