Anyone every going exploring the dark web? Dodgey as fuck and I find some of the market place humorous in the sense, that, are people foolish enough to purchase guns or drugs? With new proposed EU Law/Regulations, bitcoin wallets won't be private or anonymous if it comes into force. So such online purchases won't be so anonymous either.

Sure, there are legitimate websites on the 'Dark Web'.

The 'dodgy' market places are very busy so there are plenty of people purchasing on them.

If you haven't seen it this is a good doc about silk road - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3312868/

Don't think there's many red rooms circulating on the clear net.

Aren't red rooms an urban legend?

Red rooms are pure fiction and an ongoing joke among people who actually use Tor.

As for the darknet markets - Not my thing but they seem to be thriving and in many ways are far safer than buying drugs off the street (feedback is one thing that is often said helps buyers for example). I keep an eye on the darknet market forum over on reddit for opsec and Tor related stuff since they're people who trust their freedom to proper opsec.

The general consensus on gun purchasing on those forums is that you're a muppet if you try it.
