Got caught with a lodgement yesterday via the machine in the branch yesterday: retained some of the notes:eek:.
Any suggestions on what I can get to check them first.
    Thanks
You lodged money. Surely the machine retained all notes ? :P

OP, your posts are slightly confusing. What you're saying is that some of the notes were accepted as a lodgement but the rest were set aside as possible counterfeit notes i.e. confiscated by the machine and not credited to the intended recipient of the lodgement.

As dodzy pointed out, all of the notes were 'retained' in the sense that none of them were given back to you.
