Insurance on Phone bought from Amazon

    Hi guys,

    I am looking to insure the phone I recently bought new from Amazon, however any sites i go on to require an agreement stating that the phone was "bough by you in the Republic of Ireland, or UK from a VAT registered supplier or from the US."

    Has anyone encountered and overcome this problem in the past?

    Which Amazon did you buy it from? If it was .co.uk or .com then that would satisfy either of the "or UK from a VAT registered supplier or from the US." clauses

    I got it from Amazon UK, but the seller was Amazon EU S.a.r.l.

    I just want to be sure I'm covered before I sign up!
