    Hi all,

I need to rotate a solder ring fitting (t piece) on a pipe. Am I chancing my arm by just applying flux, heating the solder ring fitting and rotating it on the pipe 90 degrees? Maybe feed in some new solder?

    Thanks

Flux is more the key than solder and if it's a nice clean joint you should be ok but if it's over cooked or dirty then more often than not you have to take it off clean it up and re-blow it with a new fitting.

I presume it is a dry pipe?
