I really wanted the nVidia Shield but its out of stock everywhere and Amazon.de wont have one to ship until September.

With a new one due near xmas I had figured getting the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7 which I have now as a stop gap until then. It's a great price but the screen quality is sub par and its straining my eyes to read.

I need something with a proper HD display but tbh I also need a good performer, I loaded gapps and once I put on youtube, viber and facebook its a laggy mess.

Can anyone help? I dont want to break the the €200 price on the nVidia was what attracted me not giving the likes of Google €400+
