Those people do at night courses, typically at QQI level 5 ,what does one usually do with the qualification? Do such people tend to volunteer in their local sports clubs ? I'm not interested in a professional career, but just thinking I might like to do one. If I could actually do something afterwards it would be as bonus. Thoughts appreciated. ThanksðŸ˜႒

if you're thinking of volunteering in an athletics club, there's a specific coach development path. I'd imagine there are similar courses for other sports.

I don't know the courses you're thinking of, but they might be more gym-based, personal trainer? (which is still relevant for many sports)

They should be relevant but so many of them seem to just go for that "want to look better" angle. Here in Kerry the market is full of that ridiculous Pat Divilly shtick, a veneer of gym work applied to what is in essence a self help course by those who dabble in dietary advice, psychology (well, a lot about mindfulness and vision boards)...and never really focus on athleticism and faster, stronger, longer.
