    Folks,

I'm having a large problem with direct expansion geo-thermal heating system in a house that we are moving into next week. There is someone coming to look at the whole system as it isn't working well but I have an immediate problem with a 3 bar pressure relief valve which is leaking water. It is located inside a large plastic unit in the garden where the heat pump and various other components are now immersed fully in water. It is probably absolutely destroyed but for now I just want to stop the leak until the geo guy can call out.

i have reasonable DIY knowledge and have done basic plumbing before - installed radiators etc but I am definitely in over my head here. I can't find any other valve to close to be able to remove the 3 Bar pressure release valve. It's the red valve that's visibly dripping in the picture

Spoke to the geo guy earlier who recommended closing the auto-fill valve as this would relieve the amount of pressure on the system also. Could someone tell me if this looks like the auto-fill loop please? All the photos were taken months ago and the valves were closed then but may not be closed now.

    Any info gratefully received

    Sound,

    Mark
