TV license query!

Will applying for a new TV licence cancel out the old one if it was never renewed as the house was vacant for quite some time and the TV licence people wore informed of that? The house had now changed hands as the previous owner is deceased.

Not sure what you mean by cancel out the old licence but when you apply for a licence in your own name it will start from when you apply.

If you had a licence at a previous address you can apply to have it transfered to your new address.
