    Our justice system is a joke, if a lad like this gets back out. The electric chair would be more suitable.

    Who gives a toss about a trip to Drogheda. The really terrible part is that you can rape and murder two women and be out in 12 years. Is that all those women's life were worth?

    You're right, how dismissive of me.

    If the OP is as concerned as he seems to be. I suggest the OP canvasses his/her local councillors / TD or government representatives which will afford him a legitimate voice against prisoner day trips and paltry prison sentences.

    The reason for the trips to drogheda is to prepare him for release, introduce him back in to society. 12 years is a sickening sentence for the crimes he carried out. It won't be long before he reoffends again. The people who have to live beside him should be aware of exactly who he is. I pity them. Larry Murphy is nothing compared to this ****er.
