We are slowly approaching the stage of being able to say goodbye to the plumber, Electrican and builder and begin the painting and wallpapering. Panic has hit and I've got no idea about colours. The OH said "Get a friend and go shopping" but I don't have any friends whose style I admire so couldn't trust their advice.

I've looked at interior consultants, but their fees will basically absorb my wallpaper and paint fund.

    Any suggestions?

Dulux have an app where you can look at your room through a tablet or smartphone camera and 'virtually repaint' your walls in their colour range to get an idea what might look good + what colours would work together. It's an easy way to play around with different ideas to see what you like.
