    Hi
Just wondering if anyone else got this phone and is experiencing issues with the phone losing contact with the SIM card and if so did you manage to sort it?

I got the phone this week and am really liking it apart from it not doing the main job of being capable of making calls:mad:

Bought one last week in the Amazon sale for £150 after eyeing it up for months, same issue (and had a tendency to corrupt the SD card too). It's a common problem if you Google it.
Have sent mine back as while I could live with the NFC not working with the Leap app, as you say the not being able to make phone calls (or use mobile data) was a bit of an issue.

Bought mine on prime day too. Have got the return label from Amazon but decided I would just check here if there was an easy fix before I send it off and go through the trauma of picking something else. Think I may take a chance on the Ulephone Power.....

Well, the general advice is to bend the SIM tray or tape the cards in securely with sellotape. Tried both with no effect.

There were other idiosyncrasies that I could live with as it was an awful lot of phone for the money, but at the end of the day just wasn't reliable enough. But if I hadn't given it a punt would have always wondered if I should have, I think!

Trying to find a decent NFC and wireless enabled phone from this generation (apart from the Samsung S7 series at €500 up) is proving womewhat challenging.

Also not comfortable with the whole bending/cellotape thing. Not too bothered about NFC or the wireless charging either - wireless a bonus but not essential. I use met phone for work calls so actually being able to use it for calls was the biggie for me!! This us my maiden voyage with android so I expect I will probably change/upgrade phone again once I get used to it. Vodafone offering me all sorts since I migrated to SIM only with another provider but I'm not going back into a contract now that I have my freedom:D

I did have that a while back, but a simple reboot fixed it...

Getting rid of the phone regardless, battery is utter ****.

Have mine a while now, and had no issues, battery is great.

Just sent mine off today for return:( really disappointed as I liked everything about the phone except SIM issues, was in two minds as to whether I would chance another one or not but decided to go with Ulefone Power recommended on another thread.
Like I said it's my maiden voyage into Android territory so reluctant to spend too much until I get used to it. Will probably upgrade again in the short term if I likey like:)

Just cancelled the Ulephone and went for Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 instead......little more expensive but seemed to get better reviews. Ordered last night and got email from Ali Express to say that it has shipped today.
