Dazed bird

Hi there, So a bird just flew into the window and was pretty dazed. Was lying on it's side for a few minutes then stood up. From a quick google I've put a box over it (with some air holes) to keep it in the dark while it comes around. Didn't seem to react when I put the box on it. Anything else I can do?

Good news, left the bird under the box for a while and it came around and flew off
