High fitting a fire valve in line on oil feed to my boiler. Do I need some type of sealer on the threads of the male to female non compression joint brass fittings when instaling or can I just connect and tighten it dry.

If your not sure why don't you get your boiler serviced I'm sure the engineer will swap out your fire valve for only a few quid more.
