    Now here's an interesting idea...
    What is the Superbook?

    At its core, the Superbook is a smart laptop shell that provides a large screen, keyboard and multi-touch trackpad, 8+ hours of battery, and phone charging capabilities.

    When plugged into your Android smartphone, it launches our app to deliver the full laptop experience.

    Think of it as the ultimate accessory for your smartphone.

    Basically it's a bit like the ASUS Padfone - except it's a laptop and works with any modern Android phone.

    Ok the display resolution is weak (1366x768) - although I see that if they hit $1 mil they'll offer a Full HD version - and I'd personally be happier if (like the ASUS) it actually slotted into the base rather than clipped to the side of the screen, but the idea of having a laptop shell that is automatically upgraded whenever you upgrade your phone is pretty cool, especially given the underutilised power of the current flagships.

    One to watch anyway I think.
