What are the odds on half the crowd being turned to each other and ignoring him anyway even after paying that much.

Only if you get 1979 AC/DC, 1973 Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix and Mustaine/Burton era Metallica together on the same night would I pay an insane amount for a concert.
