#warning - this post links to an Indo article, lifted from the Daily Mail....:o:eek::( (the source of the article, the physics of it, seem sensible despite the channels)

Maybe this should be in the insurance section, who knows.

Maybe people have noticed me rabbiting on about physics, physiology and inverted pendulums, and the unusual fact that Germans are immune to whiplash resulting in more than €600 of max total compensations.

Apparently the aussies have come up with a model of what the human physiology would have to be to be immune to hefty shunt. It's not pretty.*
“In the modern world we're subjecting ourselves to much higher speeds, and the body just doesn't have the physiology to absorb the energy when things go wrong.

Anyway, there you go, thought it might be interesting:

*I don't think many germans look like this, so maybe the aussies got something wrong or german whiplash actually costs more than €600 all told.

600 is adequate for a sore neck
    WITH NO LONG TERM DAMAGE
