hello everyone, looking for some help.
I'm thinking about becoming an Irish citizen, I ve been here for nearly 10 years and also been married to an Irish guy for over 5 years. I understand that there is a €175 with every application and another €950 if the application is successful. I ve contacted some office in Cork who helps with all the paper work and they told me that because I'm married to an Irish person my fee will be much lower, €175 to start and €200 later.

    We're there right?
    I'm finding different answers online.

    thanks for help

As far as I know the reduced fee applies only if your Irish partner died before you applied, and you didn't naturalise in a different country between their death and your Irish citizenship application, or if you are a minor or a refugee/stateless person.
