Have out- patients apt. at 10.15 next Monday . Havent been there before and will be taking a few hrs off work to go.
Will I get parking easily in hospital car park ? don't want to arrive there well before 10.15 if don't have to but don't want to be driving all over the place trying to get parking.

    cheers in advance.

parking can be hit and miss but from memory there was ample spaces the last time I was there for an out-patient appointment. There is a very large car park as you turn into the main entrance and follow the road up around the left and then there is a car park at the next roundabout in the right.

There is also an under-ground car park but I haven't used that since maternity days.

Some people might suggest Wilton shopping centre but just be aware you may be nabbed using that if your appointment is over 3 hours.

Be wide if you use the shopping Centre car park it is been patrolled by security and reg numbers are recorded.

    that's what I was saying.

I have parked in the Tesco side a good few times bought something small on my way through the centre heading for the hospital and kept the receipt. Beats paying nearly €3 an hour in the CUH for parking. Also is there disc parking available on the roads near the hospital or is that limited to resident only parking?

Aldi car park is less strict, I've parked there for 2 hrs while visiting relatives before.

Buy something on way back to your car if you're really worried. Or better yet do your shopping!
