    You could stay in Staffordshire

How about going to Monkey Forest in Trentham?

    Alton Towers also

Blue Planet near to Cheshire Oaks on way back to Holyhead

Amerton Farm is not too far from Drayton Manor

Chester has some tours / historical sites - Walk us Crispus i think is the guides name

Hope that gives you some ideas

You get a 2nd day at drayton for £12 if you book it before you leave the park on your first day if thats any use.
    Snow dome near by too.

If you want any shopping, just opposite Blue Planet aquarium is Europes biggest outlet village = Cheshire Oaks. Its so big, coach tours visit from Ireland every christmas. And just a few miles away is a fantastic zoo. Chester Zoo.
