    Hi,

Drive belt has dropped and it is partially shredded so I will need it to be replaced.

What should it cost me to get it done? I have no means of transport so I am asking for a typical price with pick-up / delivery service.

    Many thanks!

Pick up could cost 20ish depending how far u are.... genuine belt will cost 30/35 ish ....some models id have it on in 20/30min while others are a little more awkward.... if it cost 100eur you would be doing well but be ready for 150 IMO

My belt went at the start of the summer, the main dealer for the make I bought the ride on from are about 45Km from me. They came out and replaced it at my house for 65 or 85 euro. It was something which they could do easily without bringing it off with them so saved me money.

Why not do it yourself or get a handy friend to do it, in return for a pint, or whatever? It should tell you how to change it in the manual. If not, Google it and find a "how-to" video. Google will also tell you where to find spare parts.
Regarding drive belts; they do look very like extra long automotive belts (at least, the one for my Snapper). I'm going to bring mine to the local motor factor, to see if he can supply one cheaper, next time I need one.

    Hi,

Thank you guys for the answers. The mower is back from repair and working so all good.

As to why I did not repair it myself. I simply do not have time and grass waits for no one ;)

    Cheers
