    Hi I'm living between croagh/adare Co limerick & I thinking of getting broadband but not sure which provider has the best signal in those area's (obviously depends on what obstacles are in the way ie. Trees etc) at a reasonable price. Thanks

    If fixed line broadband is not available, Imagine will prob be your best bet. Due to launch in next two weeks in Limerick (supposedly). They guarantee at least 30mb but people in the imagine forum have been experiencing lower speeds. But it's the best bet until fixed line comes available under NBP which could be anytime. Later rather than sooner I would expect though

    You might be out of range of the Imagine mast ... Check this map and see what is available to you.

    I wouldn't think so. I'm in Patrickswell and I'm eligible for it.

    Patrickswell is well covered, but it barely reaches Adare, so Croagh looks outta range.

    Thanks for the replies along with detailed recommendations.
    I got a reply from imagine to say I am currently out of range. Thanks again.

    Croagh is out of range but given the disperesed nature of the population of West Limerick it may be a prime candidate for expansion to there.

    Have you looked into broadband from eir over the phone line? Pop your line in here and post what you get back http://business.digiweb.ie/linechecker/

    If fixed line broadband is out of the question, you should have coverage from these three wireless ISPs:

    * BBNet : www.bbnet.ie
    * Permanet: www.permanet.ie
    * Ripplecom: www.ripplecom.net

    Just wondering if you got sorted in the end . Had digiweb up till the other day, around same area area. Reception just went too bad, due to trees . Was paying €35 a month and hoping to get another wireless provider for similiar money. Anyone know what Vodafone wireless is like ?
