Permanent ban from politics cafe

Here's what I said.

I support what they stood for but that doesn't mean I support everything some of their members done. The poppy day massacre was a disgrace which was approved by a mid level officer but I agree with the killing of British soldiers and I understand that civilian casualty is sometimes inevitable.

I was speaking in context of the war that soldiers were legitimate targets.

This is not a good enough reason to ban me I'm supporting one side of a war over the other


Jack - The decision to ban you was based not just on that single post - although that post was a clear breech of both the forum and site charters.

In the preceding 4 or 5 days you had accumulated several cards and you had also just returned to the Café following a 2 day ban for personal abuse.

Your pattern of posting showed a clear disconnect from what is acceptable behaviour on the forum and the wider site so the decision was taken to ban you.

I remain fully confident that this was the correct decision.

If you wish to contest the ban , please follow the Dispute Resolution process.

I believe this is based on some moral thing from the mod I had just been banned from the cafe but he just used that as an excuse to make the ban.
