    Hi all,

Was just looking for some advice if that'd be ok.

I interviewed for a job last Monday and found out on Thursday that I was successful. I got an email on Friday evening with the salary details, benefits, etc... It could be interesting but it's in London which is very expensive.

I have another interview for a somewhat similar role next week. There is a vacancy at a good University which expires then as well which I was encouraged to apply for by someone who works there I know. It's only a 2 year contract however.

Basically, I've verbally accepted the original offer thinking it the safest option. Could be a very good job, and stable but I won't know until several months in. Would it be really bad form to go back on it after accepting if I get one of the other jobs?

Nothing is finalised until a contract is signed and then it's just a Mater of appropriate notice.

People get cold feet about jobs all the time for various reasons, but don't talk yourself out of the job just because London is expensive etc. It could well be a wonderful experience that will take you and your career places

Cheers! I have an interview on Wednesday but I think the London one will be ok.
