Anyone know where to buy rag in Donegal?

We could get them from our usual local supplier in Drogheda but his stuff has been truly awful this year - the muppet who digs them apparently puts cut worms in with the good ones and they're all dead in a few hours. However, the plan is for a week's fishing in Killybegs so we want very good quality that will last at least a few days while we're there.

An alternative is if we could have them delivered for a reasonable price.

I know land and sea sports in Bundoran does bait, not sure about rag but could be worth a call. It's a fair bit away from killibegs, but i suspect you're likely to drive through Bundoran if you're coming from the Louth/ Dublin direction.

Is there anywhere to dig ragworm north of Dublin, maybe around Drogheda?

Is there any mail order bait shops in Ireland? (or the UK who would ship to Ireland)

You used to get them in Baltray but those days are long gone! You can buy them in the Drogheda Angling shop in the Boyne center.

thanks but that shop is utterly useless, you are told they'll definitely have some on a certain day, you then ring and ring to be told there are not in yet and then after waiting most of the day to go fishing you're told there's none.
