    Anybody know if this joint is still open, I was there a few years ago and my brother is over from Oz and I wanted to bring him there

    O'Haras on the corner of Logan st. Just down the road from Buddy's.
    A hunded yards on is Murphys in Low st...small but has a beer garden.

    I shared a house with a Ted Murphy who had a pub in Thomastown, is that the same family would you think?

    His name is Ted alright...cant be too many of them.

    We were dossing our way through college around'84-85 which would put him around the 50 age bracket, does he fit the profile? A sound bloke in fairness. Loved his pint( like us all)!!!

    I don't know much about him but he'd be that age and profile so most likely he's your man!

    The most similar bar in Thomastown would be The Bridgebrook Arms over the bridge, Murphy's also in the same vein
