    Along the ideas below I'm doing a bestmans speech friday, I'll be reading some actual cards, but wanted to throw some fake ones in to the mix too. There is an awful amount of filthy rubbish about online, I want it funny

    From Enda Kenny, Wayne Rooney(To and Everton fan) Shrek etc

    To <bride or groom>,

    I was devastated to hear you are now off the market, but all the best for your future.

    George Clooney or George Michael

    Any ideas?

    I did one which was from a friend who the lads all fell out of touch with - or he stopped keeping in touch with us when he emigrated.

    There was an ongoing joke that if anyone ever mentioned his name, everyone would look confused and we'd all be like "sorry, who are you talking about?"...

    I did a spoof telegram from here.....

    "I have one here from a Owin... Owine... Owen Johnson* ...... no, I never heard of him either"

    Went down well with the groom and the gang of friends, no one else was any the wiser.
