    Hi,

I'm contracting in Ireland using an Irish LTD but the agency I'm going through is in the UK. I assume they won't be charged Irish VAT but I was reading about the reverse charge and not too sure what I should be putting on the invoices?

    Any help?

    Cheers

    Hi,

Unfortunately VAT is complicated donut depends what you are invoicing for i.e. what work you are doing - are you installing / repairing machinery or providing professional services.

    Kind regards,
    Adrian

Thanks for the reply Adrian. Talked to my accountant and the agency and just needed to put "Please Note: This supply is subject to the reverse charge" on the invoice along with the UK vat number
